Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GarmentDesk. Before you use our service, please read these Terms of Service. We have written them in simple, clear language, not complex legal jargon, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for or using GarmentDesk, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use GarmentDesk.

These Terms apply to individual users, business owners, and any staff members who access GarmentDesk through your account.

2. Your Account

2.1 Account Registration

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create a GarmentDesk account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when signing up.
  • One person or business should not create multiple accounts without our permission.

2.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • Do not share your login credentials with people outside your business.
  • If you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password immediately and contact us.
  • GarmentDesk will never ask for your password via email or chat.

2.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to keep your account information up to date. Providing false information, impersonating another business, or creating fake accounts is not permitted and may result in account termination.

3. Free Trial

GarmentDesk offers a 14-day free trial when you sign up. During the trial:

  • You have access to all features available in your trial plan
  • No credit card is required
  • Your data is saved and will remain available if you subscribe after the trial
  • After 14 days, your account will be limited or deactivated unless you choose a paid plan

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Paid Plans

After your free trial, you can continue using GarmentDesk by subscribing to a paid plan. Details of current plans and pricing are available at garmentdesk.com/pricing.

4.2 Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance — monthly or annually, depending on your plan.
  • Payments are processed securely through our payment partner.
  • You will receive an email receipt for every payment.

4.3 Renewals

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

4.4 Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with GarmentDesk, contact us within 7 days of your first payment and we will consider your refund request on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for partial months or annual plans after the first 7 days.

4.5 Price Changes

We may update our subscription prices from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel your subscription if you do not accept the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

GarmentDesk is designed for legitimate business use. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

  • Use GarmentDesk to commit fraud or any illegal activity
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage GarmentDesk systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without permission
  • Reverse-engineer or copy any part of our software
  • Use your account to compete with or copy GarmentDesk

Violating these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Your Data

You own the data you put into GarmentDesk (your customers, orders, measurements, invoices, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your business data.

You grant us a limited right to process your data for the sole purpose of providing you with GarmentDesk services.

We will never sell your data or use it to compete with your business.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep GarmentDesk running 24/7, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Occasionally, we may need to take the service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or to address technical issues. We will try to notify you in advance for planned maintenance.

8. Intellectual Property

All GarmentDesk software, design, code, logos, and content are owned by GarmentDesk and protected by intellectual property laws. You are given a limited, non-transferable license to use GarmentDesk for your own business purposes.

You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative products from GarmentDesk without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

GarmentDesk is provided ‘as is’. While we do our best to keep it reliable and accurate, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Business losses resulting from using or being unable to use GarmentDesk
  • Errors in data that you entered or that resulted from third-party integrations
  • Loss of data due to events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages)
  • Actions of third parties or unauthorized users of your account

Our maximum liability to you in any situation shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the incident.

10. Account Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You can cancel your account at any time by going to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan, or by contacting us at support@garmentdesk.com. After cancellation, you can still access your data for the remainder of your paid billing period.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms and Conditions
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Use GarmentDesk in a way that harms others or our service

In serious cases, we may terminate immediately without notice. In other cases, we will give you a warning first.

10.3 What Happens to Your Data After Termination

After account termination, your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind. After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [applicable jurisdiction]. If a specific clause of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use GarmentDesk after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
